Tim Easterby is a classic winning trainer and son of the great Peter Easterby. The family are racing blue bloods. Tim grew up watching his father train champions such as Sea Pigeon and Night Nurse. Not only has he saddled a Classic winner in Bollin Eric, memorably triumphant in the 2002 St Leger at Doncaster, he has also scored in Group 1 races withPipalong, Fayr Jag and Somnus, who was crowned Europe’s champion sprinter in 2004. Tim has also had winners over the jumps at the Cheltenham festival.Hes a gentleman to speak to and always makes us feel welcome at the yard and at the races.
