In March this year, our friends Luke & Dave undertook a journey to Ukraine to deliver some much needed supplies to the country.
The have released a song about their journey and the ongoing war in the Ukraine.

Gold As Glass, our 2 year old filly by Australia won on her racecourse debut yesterday at Newmarket.
The Marco Botti trained chesnut was ridden by Hollie Doyle for the 12 runner event over seven furlongs. She broke smartly from the stalls and Hollie took up a handy position on the rail just behind the leaders. At at 2 marker she started to make easy headway to go into the lead, Hollie kept her up to her work and she went on to win from the fast finishing favourite.
A big well done to her owners, she is a very exciting filly for next year.
We purchased a new horse with Marco last week, a very athletic son of Land Force. Shares are in high demand, dont hesitate in contacting us. Click on the link below for his full profile and breeding.
We have added new yearlings to the site this week. Click on the profiles below for the full profile & breeding pages. The are all being broken in and we are excited to see their development over the coming months. There are no issues to report with any of them and some are starting to show their characters and to give you a small insight into what they might be.

It was only yesterday that Temper Trap secured our 300th winner at Leicester and some 22 hours and 220 miles later at Carlisle, he delivers number 301 in game fashion under a strong ride from 3lb claimer – Sean Kirrane.
Sent off at 6/4 favourite for the 8 runner contest, Sean was happy to sit towards the tail end of the field in the early furlongs. At the 3 furlong marker, as they rounded the bend for home, Sean angled Temper out for a run and he responded in kind to go into a share of the lead by the 2 marker. Sean got into maximum drive and Temper held off all challengers to land his 9th career victory.
In just less than a month, he has won 4 races and came second in 5 starts. He is thoroughly enjoying his racing and Tim and all of his team have done an amazing job to keep him in such good order.
A big well done to his owners on another marvelous success.
Ontoawinner, the racehorse syndicate established in 2011, celebrated their 300th winner when Temper Trap, trained by Tim Easterby, won at Leicester Racecourse on 18th August 2022.
The Ontoawinner roll of honour boasts the dual Group 1 winner Quiet Reflection who won the Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot and The Haydock Sprint Cup, Group 2 Mill Reef winner Toocoolforschool, Group 3 Sweet Solera winner Star of Emaraaty and listed winners Castle Hill Cassie, Corinthia Knight, Raydiance and Katies Diamond. We have also had many stakes placed performers.
Founded by Niall O’Brien and Simon Bridge, Ontoawinner, the Northern Owners of the Year in 2016, have gone from strength to strength and contributed massively to the success of syndicates in the UK over the past ten years. On the International front they have also had winners in Ireland, France & Sweden and had Corinthia Knight placed in the juvenile Breeders Cup Sprint in the USA.
Niall comments: “We pride ourselves on our core values of providing excellent and regular communication, buying value for money horses and charging fair fees.”
Ontoawinner now has 45 horses with 14 trainers in the UK. The passion and ambition shows no sign of abating, and the squad of horses for 2022 includes tough performers like the 17 times winner Corinthia Knight, Wobwobwob, Amor de Mi Vida and Sheriff Garrett. There is also the usual exciting squad of 2-y-0s, which Ontoawinner have always done well with, most notably in 2020 with 18 two-year-old winners.
Simon Bridge commented: ‘’We would like to thank the fantastic support we have received from our owners, trainers and their staff, jockeys and racecourses’’ and Niall added ‘’thanks are also due to the hard-working team behind the successful operation, including Chris Patten, Ronan O’Brien, Steve Bedworth and Jonathan Adams and our patient families who give us the support required to run the syndicate”.
Roll on with the next 300.
Dungar Glory made it a double at Ripon last night for Ontoawinner as she won the 3 year old mile handicap under a power packed ride from Jason Hart.
Jason had ridden her the last day over 10 furlongs and recommended we drop to a mile and he made use of her stamina from the start to lead in the early stages.
As the race unfolded, it became a 2 horse race with the David O Meara trained Head Chef. Our filly showed a tremendous attitude and held off the challenger late on to score by ¾ of a length.
A big well done to her owners and all of the team at Adrian Keatley’s on a deserved success.
Dungar brought up a double on the night with Temper Trap landing the apprentice race over the same distance under Brandon Wilkie. A memorable Ripon evening for the Yellow & Whites !
Temper Trap won again this evening at Ripon in the Apprentice Handicap over 1 mile.
Brandon Wilkie took the mount for the 8 runner event. Temper Trap broke well but was travelling keenly in the early part of the race. As the race started to unfold Temper Trap looked to still be going well when Brandon asked for maximum effort at the 2 marker, Temper responded in game fashion. He went on to score by 6 lengths.
Well done to his owners and all of the team at Tim’s. He has been a great horse for his owners , winning 7 times now. Also, a big well done to Brandon Wilkie on a fine ride.
