Mitchell's Way wins at Sedgefield

Mitchell’s Way’s easy Chase victory over 2m4f last weekend saw Ontoawinner register wins on the flat, over hurdles and over fences for the first time. The horse, partnered by Paul Maloney, was fantastic from start to finish. It was two on the bounce for Mitchells after a win in a jumpers bumper around the all-weather. Connections will look for another race for him now. Well done Niall and Simon, another really sound purchase with a restricted budget. It’s easy for people to take it for granted, as Ontoawinner have made the last few years look easy, but the purchasing has been really good.

Heavenly River may debut this week coming. She’s a big strong filly now, who may well have a bright future.

The two year olds are going really well, there’s been almost no issues as winter has been so mild.

Don’t forget its Edwin Tuer’s yard visit next weekend, Sat 15th, ¬†and Brian Ellison’s the week after, Sat 22nd.

Teds Brother has been added to the Arc syndicate, which is fantastic news for those guys, he’s a regular runner and is tough. He’s difficult to beat in his own grade with the right conditions.
