June Joy?

There will be plenty to look forward to in June for the Ontoawinner merry band of Owners and Arc Members.

The number of horses in the Arc syndicate grows to 10 this week with Nelsons Bay and Sally Friday joining the already swelling ranks, led by the tough Piceno, who has engagements this weekend at Chester, York and Leicester. He’ll go wherever his best chance is.

Burnhope, Penalty Scorer and Teds Brother will also race this week, and will be doing their best.

The classy trio Fast Shot, Ticking Katie and Yourartisonfire have entries and will be out this month. The filly may go to Sandown Saturday for a £20,000 purse and is hopefully coming back to herself after being a little off colour for the last few months.  Yourartisonfire will be out as soon as he gets Good ground and Fast Shot will race in the Wokingham or at Newcastle on Plate Day if he doesn’t get in the Ascot feature sprint.

Fazza and Hail The Brave may also have weekend engagements and are in good order.

We welcome Wilf Storey to the Ontoawinner team and his Nelsons Bay who will probably go to Redcar 20th June, in the lucky yellow and white, could he win on debut for us?!

Sunrise Dance, Sakhee’s Return and the Burke 2-y-0 fillies are also due runs in the not too distant future.

It’s all happening, it’s all good fun, and there’s a place on the happy bus for you! Get in!
