Made Of Honour strikes at Ayr

MOHAyrThe Karl Burke trained Made Of Honour, a beautiful chestnut filly by Casamento won a nice maiden yesterday at Ayr on only her 3rd racecourse start. The talented Clifford Lee took the ride for the 4 runner race over 6 furlongs.

Breaking from the stalls, she stalked the leader all the way under the 2 furlong marker and showed tremendous attitude to kick clear to score by just over 3 lengths. Her form figures are now 2-3-1, she is a cracking filly for the season ahead, well done to her owners.

Elsewhere, Seduce Me finished an excellent second at Nottingham where she was stepped up to a mile. Ridden by Martin Harley, she travelled supremely well throughout and was just denied by the favourite on ground that would be on the quick side for her. She is a very nice type and her turn will come soon.

Yeeow, Zorovan & Cosy club also ran at Ayr yesterday. Yeeoow ran an excellent race under Clifford Lee to finish a gallant third. Zorovans race was run at breakneck speed on the quick ground and he couldn’t land a blow, he finished 6th. Cosy Club faded late on after setting off at a stern pace on ground that was on the quick side for him, his turn will come.
