Miami Gator 3rd at Wolverhampton
Miami Gator ran in the Class 5 handicap over 9 furlongs yesterday at Wolverhampton . Ryan Tate who claims 7lb was abroad the 10 times previous winner who is trained by Karl Burke.
Miami broke smartly and held a good position , lying 2nd on the rail for the majority of the race , at the 2 furlong mark, Ryan rode Miami to take the lead but he was headed inside the final furlong and was pipped for 2nd close to the finish line.
This was a good performance for horse and jockey and Ryan looks to have what it takes to have a bright future in the racing game .
Miami will now head to St Moritz to tackle a couple of races on foreign soil.
