Adaay With Friends.

Description

We have been busy at the recent Tattersalls Ascot yearling sales and we managed to secure this very nice filly by hot first season sire – Adaay. She goes into training with Karl Burke.

Adaay, who stands at Whitsbury Manor Stud is by champion stallion Kodiac. Adaay was a winner of 5 of his 17 starts. He was a very good winner of the Group 2 Sandy Lane Stakes at Haydock over 6 furlongs, later in the same year he won the Group 2 Hungerford stakes at Newbury over 7 furlongs. He has made a bright start to his stud career and is in the running to be champion first season sire. He is a sire we think a lot of.

The dam Clouds Rest is by Showcasing and was a very smart 2 year old who was trained by Richard Fahey. She won 3 races in her 2 year old season. She is the dam of 1 winner from 1 runner – Spirit of the Sky who was a winner at 2 in 2019. The dam is a half sister to Streamline who won the Group 3 Sirenia Stakes at Kempton in 2019.

This filly has a lot going for her and has a page to match. There are 2 year old winners and plenty of black type littered across the page. She is a bargain at the price.

Karl on the Adaay filly:

“We were prepared to pay a lot more than we did, she is a racey filly and real value, delighted to secure her.”
