Description

We were delighted to secure this cracking Camacho filly at the breeze ups, she really fills the eye and is a very good mover. She did a very good breeze and covered the ground very well. She was signed for by the very astute Blanford Blookstock and is trained by the young maestro Archie Watson.

The sire, Camacho who stands at Yoemanstown stud is by the mighty Dane Hill. He had a fantastic 2018 with Teppal winning a classic and Signora Cabello who won the Queen Mary and the Prix Robert Papin. His progeny have been very popular at the sales this season and we are delighted to add our first Camacho to the string.

The dam Royal Visit is by Kings Best. She only ran 3 times for John Oxx. She won a competitive maiden on her second start and was given a rating of 86. She is the dam of 2 winners from 3 runners. The grand dam – Catch The Blues was a Group 3 winner and multiple group placed. She was trained by Aidan O’ Brien at Ballydoyle. She is the dam to black type winners and is the Grand Dam to the mighty Sioux Nation who now stands at Coolmore.

This is a lovely filly, she is a real good mover and takes the eye and also did a fantastic breeze in a very good time. We are delighted to have her running in yellow and white this season.

Archie Watson on the Camacho Filly : “Cracking filly, from a very good family of speed. Very happy to secure her at this price as she was a target..”
