Description

We are delighted to offer this beautiful bay colt by the hugely successful sire – Equiano. We purchased him at the Doncaster Breeze ups and believe we found great value for money, we were delighted to beat off stiff competition to land him.

Equiano, also known as the “King of Speed” was a high class sprinter by Acclamation who won the King James Palace Stakes twice during his illustrious career.  Equiano topped the European 2015 second season sire premiership for wins (64) defeating both Zebedee and Paco Boy. He was also leading third season sire in 2016. Equiano are known to be super strong and precocious and our colt is well stamped by his sire.

The dam – Snakes Head was a winner at 3 and placed a further 7 times. She is the dam of 4 runners of which 2 are winners.

Our colt did a very good breeze and looked very professional. He is a February foal and has the strength and scope to make into a really nice racehorse. He goes into training with Tim Easterby. Get in touch for any queries in relation to him.

This Colt also qualifies for the new Plus 10 scheme being by a stallion resident in GB or Ireland, where qualified horses earn an additional £10,000 should they win a class 4 maiden or above on top of the normally allocated prize money for the race victory as well as an additional £10,000 for each subsequent win in a class 4 to class 2 novice or conditions or nursery race. Its a fabulous new initiative and replaces the Racing Post Yearling Bonus and BOBIS Schemes previously.
