Description

Ontoawinner are delighted to add this cracking chesnut filly by Havana Gold.

Havana Gold was the fastest and most precocious Group 1 winning son of Teofilo, who is a son of Galileo. Havana Gold won 5 of his 11 starts amassing prize money of over 300k in his race career. He won the Group 3 Somerville Tattersall Stakes as a 2 year old and then went on to win the Group 1 Prix Jean Prat as a 3 year old. His first 2 year olds debuted in 2017 and have been very successful including the Karl Burke trained Listed & Group winner Havana Grey.

The dam, by Cape Cross was unraced. She is a dam of 2 previous foals, one winner – Desert Cross who won 3 races this year.

She’s from the family of the sire Gale Force Ten on the dam’s side and other cracking black type performers in Ronaldsay, Pickle, Gusto and Beauly. The dam is out of a Cape Cross mare and is speedily bred. She looks a real early 2-y-0, compact and strong. The dam has produced a multiple winner from a less precocious stallion and this Havana Gold filly looks a real runner. She is a lovely well put together filly. All in all it’s an impressive and convincing page with a lot going for the filly.

If you are interested in getting involved in an exciting filly for reasonable outlay, this could be the filly for you.
