Description

We are offering shares in this Colt by Mayson out of an Excelebration mare. This Colt looks a 6f sprinter all over and has that typical ‘Mayson’ look about him.

Mayson was a Group 1 July Cup winner by 5 lengths no less, he is the sire of the likes of Oxted (Group 1 Kings Stand & July Cup) and Rohaan (Group 2 Sandy Lane Stakes). Mayson has consistently out performed his cover fee year on year, he was 2nd on the leading sire of GB sprint winners list, second only to Dubawi no less, ahead of the likes of Showcasing and Bated Breath.

The mare, Reflected, was unraced, she is from the family of Emirates Gold and Yarastar. Excelebration has already established himself as a classy damsire, with Flaming Rib (Group 3 winner, Group 1 placed) already a sign of the things to come as a damsire for Excelebration.

This Colt offers an inexpensive route into ownership but offers brilliant value. He goes into training with Jessica Macey, who for us is a trainer on the up. This Colt has the look of a typical Mayson, we’ve done well with Mayson’s before for little money such as Raydiance, a £7k purchase who was a Listed winner at 2, Lady Calcaria who won a £25k fillies handicap and Shallow Hal, Class 2 winner. We think this Colt is good value for money and worth a second look.
