Panis Colt.

SOLD

Description

We are delighted to offer this stunning colt by Panis. We purchased him at the 2018 Osarus yearling sales with Archie & Blanford Bloodstock.

Panis is a top French sire who shot to prominence in the UK this year with Sands of Mali who in 2018 is a multiple group winner and was second in the Group 1 Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot. In 2018 to date, he is responsible for 2 group winners and boasts a 37 % runners to winners strike rate.

This colt was purchased at the same sale and from the same consignors that sold Sands Of Mail as a yearling. The breeze up king – Con Marnane bought Sands Of Mali as a yearling at the Osarus sales and sold him for 76k at the breeze ups. The consignors believe ours is better stamped by the sire and we are delighted to have secured him

The dam, Andolorise, by Footstepsinthesand won 2 races at 3 years and this is her first foal.

This athletic and good moving colt is a lovely prospect for next year. He ticks a lot of boxes for us, he has an excellent temperament and looks like a racehorse should. He is very strong and correct, has an excellent hind quarters, perfect shoulder and deep girth. He is a very cheap horse for the specimen. He is a speedy sort that should be out early this season. He also qualifies for French Premiums.
