Pastoral Pursuits colt.

Description

This Bursea Lodge bred Colt by Pastoral Pursuits, is the 8th foal out of the 98 rated Littlemisssunshine who was 6th in the Queen Mary. She has produced 6 winners from her 6 progeny to race. She has produced two Royal Ascot runners, Soapy Aitken and Littlemissblakeney (rated 95).

This colt is a full brother to the 99 rated Soapy Aitken, who was 4th in the Windsor Castle at Royal Ascot.

He is a real athletic looking individual. He is a lovely walker and moves effortlessly on the lunge. He was always going to be retained to race for Ontoawinner, as he has the profile of a very exciting prospect. The Bursea Lodge breeding partnership who own the mare are retaining a majority share in the colt. They reserve the right to sell the colt on at any stage for significant profit, to be divided as always proportionally to shareholding among all the owners, should he live up to the ability of the sire, dam or several siblings. The colt doesn’t have to be sold if winning a maiden and getting black type, but there can come a time where it’s prudent to take profit.

The colt goes into training with Julie Camacho, who has demonstrated excellent handling and placing of sprinters in recent years.

He is for sale in incremental 5% shares as there is a partner number limit in this horse and there is just 25% available for sale now. Naming rights are no longer available.
