Prince of Lir filly.

Description

We are delighted to offer this beautiful Prince of Lir filly that we purchased at Goffs Sportsman sales. She is trained by Archie Watson who has quickly cemented his status as the best trainer of 2 year olds in the country.

Prince of Lir was a top class 2 year old by Kodiac. He hacked up on his racecourse debut and went on to win the Group 2 Norfolk at Royal Ascot on only his second start. He is by the mighty sire or sires – Kodiac who has produced countless other top class horses to win top class races especially with 2 year olds. Prince of Lir will have his first crop of 2 year olds on the track in 2020.

The dam Pilot Hill was unraced and this is her first foal. The grand dam – Song Of Passion was a 5 time winner between 2 & 4 and amassed over 80k in prize money. She is the dam of 3 runners, 2 winners.

This is a very reasonably priced filly for anyone looking to have a bit of fun with next year. She was consigned by Ballyhane who have kept a stake as they thought a lot of her. We are delighted to have her running in yellow and white silks next season.

Archie Watson on the Prince of Lir filly: : “Cracking filly for the outlay. She is sure to sell quickly at the price.”
