Description

We are delighted to buy this Royal Applause colt with Kevin Ryan whom we have had so much success with in the past.

Royal Applause needs no introduction as a sire, and hes a favourite of ours. Hes the dam sire of Sakhees Return and hes a fantastic sire of speedy 2-y-0s, having sired no less than 20 horses with a RPR of 110 or more, including Acclamation, Finjann, Dance and Dance and Lovelace.

Our colt has been stamped well by the sire, which is a big tick in the box and we like to see that in the yearlings we buy.

The dam Giusina Mia, by Diesis was a winning racehorse who has produced 5 winners from six runners herself as a broodmare, a very impressive strike rate. She clearly breeds racehorses who want to run for you.

She has produced two black type performers from 5 runners, itself not easy to do and well above broodmare average production. Three of her offspring were 2-y-0 winners.

The colt needs to be seen to be appreciated. Hes got a lovely strong topline and hindquarters. Hes got very correct conformation with a nice honest head and eye. He looks a Kevin Ryan two year old really, nice depth of girth, racey, correct, athletic and looks like a mini racehorse. Bought with the astute Stephen Hillen/Ryan team, like The Grey Gatsby, Astaire, Bogart and many more, were glad to be onboard and feel you should consider taking a chance too. We hope to have some fun with him.
