Showbiz Mati.

We are huge fans of Showcasing progeny at Ontoawinner, after major success in recent years with Life Of Riley and group winners Toocoolforschool & Quiet Reflection to name a few. We are delighted to offer this cracking filly who goes into training with Adrian Keatley.

We have given her time since the sales, she is a big strong filly now and fills her frame well. This filly will only improve with time, a real Showcasing type who now looks and moves like a real athlete. She was a target at the sale and we were delighted to secure her.

The stallion Showcasing only ran 7 times, winning twice and being placed 3 times. He won his maiden as a 2 year old at Yarmouth before going on to York and winning the Gimcrack Stakes in a course record time. He is quoted in the timeform records as being the top rated Gimcrack winner. He finished 3rd in the 2 year old Middle Park Stakes at Newmarket. He also finished 3rd in the Group 2 Duke of York Stakes at York. He ran a further 2 times amassing prize money just shy of £130k before being retired to stud due to injury.

In 2014 Showcasing was the leading first season sire in Europe with an impressive 45% strike rate. His progeny include our own Toocoolforschool, the 7 length Group 2 Mill Reef winner and our Royal Ascot Group 1 winner Quiet Reflection. Showcasing progeny have been hugely popular at the recent Yearling and Breeze up sales.

The dam Curry, by Acclamation was beaten 6 lengths in a Goodwood maiden as a 2 year old and suffered an injury that finished her career. The 2nd dam was a Group 3 winner and has produced a Group 2 winner in Terebellum.

This is a big strong, athletic filly now with a good walk. She moves and looks like a nice horse and we are excited to see what this season brings.
