Description

The Ontoawinner buying team have been very busy at the recent Tattersalls breeze up sales and we have managed to secure this gorgeous filly by Tamayuz who goes into training with Adrian Keatley!

Tamayuz was an outstanding horse for Hamdan Al Maktoum winning 5 of his 7 starts. At 3 he won the Group 3 Prix de Fontainebleau and at 4 he won 2 Group 1’s in France for trainer Freddy Head. He is the sire of 4 individual Group 1 winners including G Force.  Tamayuz continued to produce the goods in 2019, when his standard-bearer was the ever consistent Mustashry, winner of the Group 1 Lockinge Stakes in May, and victorious in the Group 2 Challenge Stakes for the second year running five months’ later. Meanwhile, another typically tough sort, Gallic Chieftain flew the flag for him down under, where he landed the Group 2 Chairman’s Prize at Randwick before finishing second in the Group 1 Metropolitan at the same track.

The Dam – Dutch Rifle is by Dutch Art. She was a smart performer on the track, winning 2 of her 9 starts. She was a winner on debut as a 2 year old and also won at 3. She has 2 foals of racing age. The grand dam has produced 4 winners from 6 runners and the 3rd dams page is littered with black type.

This filly has plenty of scope and did one of the fastest breezes on the day. Her second furlong of the breeze was at the very top of the performance charts and she galloped all the way to the line. She is a smart filly for the season ahead.

Adrian Keatley on the Tamayuz filly – 08/07/2020 – “This filly is a quality animal, i loved her breeze and the way she lengthened. She is quick and has a lovely stride. I cant wait to see her on the track.”
