OnToAWinner are delighted to offer Yeeoow, another nice type trained by Karl Burke. Yeeoow is a 7 year old bay gelding, he is a winner of 3 races and has been placed on a further 9 occasions in his 32 starts, earning over 37k in prize money to date.

When the opportunity arose for us to purchase Yeeoow, we didnt hesitate. We have been long term admirers of Yeeoows having competed against him on numerous occasions with Fast Shot, so that tells you this is a quality horse who will run in plenty of big handicaps throughout the season.

He has a current rating of 85, having been as high as 93 last summer, we feel that his current mark is one that he can exploit; a winner waiting to happen.

He has run in top handicaps in both Ireland and England, he was an unlucky loser of a big handicap at Newmarket last year, beaten a half a length into 2nd, earing over 8k in prizemoney for the run. He competed in the last 2 renewals of the Ayr Silver cup, which will be the aim again this year. He is already race fit, having been fourth last time out, beaten 2 lengths from an unfavourable draw at Kempton.

He joins a strong Ontoawinner team, and fits the Ontoawinner profile of honest and tough horses.

If you want to go racing regularly on a Saturday and be involved in a winning horse who always gives his running, he is the horse for you. He has a great attitude and will be kept busy through the summer months, a certain winner for any prospective owner

About Karl

Karl is married to Elaine Jarvis, daughter of trainer Alan. In his early years Karl rode as an apprentice for Alan but always likely to be too heavy for the Flat he switched codes to jump racing, and went on to gain 50 winners from 750 rides. Turning his interest to training, Karl and Elaine set up a livery and pre-training yard in Newark where they broke young stock in. It was here they started training a small string of both flat and jump horses.
