Dungar Glory made it a double at Ripon last night for Ontoawinner as she won the 3 year old mile handicap under a power packed ride from Jason Hart.
Jason had ridden her the last day over 10 furlongs and recommended we drop to a mile and he made use of her stamina from the start to lead in the early stages.
As the race unfolded, it became a 2 horse race with the David O Meara trained Head Chef. Our filly showed a tremendous attitude and held off the challenger late on to score by ¾ of a length.
A big well done to her owners and all of the team at Adrian Keatley’s on a deserved success.
Dungar brought up a double on the night with Temper Trap landing the apprentice race over the same distance under Brandon Wilkie. A memorable Ripon evening for the Yellow & Whites !
Temper Trap won again this evening at Ripon in the Apprentice Handicap over 1 mile.
Brandon Wilkie took the mount for the 8 runner event. Temper Trap broke well but was travelling keenly in the early part of the race. As the race started to unfold Temper Trap looked to still be going well when Brandon asked for maximum effort at the 2 marker, Temper responded in game fashion. He went on to score by 6 lengths.
Well done to his owners and all of the team at Tim’s. He has been a great horse for his owners , winning 7 times now. Also, a big well done to Brandon Wilkie on a fine ride.
The David Loughnane trained Beechwood Mick lined up in the 2 year old race over 7 furlongs yesterday at Newmarket. The Holy Roman Emperor gelding was making his 3rd start and was ridden by Rossa Ryan.
Rossa bounced Beechwood out at the start and decided to make the running in the 4 runner field. He looked to have them in trouble 3 furlongs out and while green in the latter stages of the race, he showed tremendous attitude to go on to score at a price of 9/1. It was a big step forward from the horse and a fantastic ride by Rossa.
A big well done to his owners and all of the team at David Loughnane’s, he will get a handicap mark now and looks to be maturing and progressing nicely.
Corinthia Knight won again at Pontefract this evening to bring his tally to 6 wins from 8 starts at the track and a remarkable 17th career win.
His usual pilot – Hollie Doyle was back aboard and was seeking a 4 timer on the card and Corinthia duly obliged in game fashion.
Hollie had to cajole him to get the rail and take the lead heading into the bend. Hollie hit the front and set perfect fractions to hold off all challengers and land the spoils. What a horse, what a jockey!
A big well done to his owners and all of the team at Archies on another incredible success.
Show Me Show Me ran another solid race in defeat at Musselburgh last Friday (29th July) when coming a close third in a class 3 heat.

Temper Trap won last night to make it 6 career wins from 31 starts and a 3rd consecutive win in the same race for the Tim Easterby trained 5 year old Slade Power gelding.
David Egan took the mount for the 11 runner event. Temper Trap broke smartly from the stalls and David settled him on the rail in 3rd position in the early stages of the race. He was travelling smoothly throughout and David took it up at the 2 furlong marker and he went on to score by a couple of lengths.
Well done to his owners and all of the team at Tim’s. He has been a great horse for his owners and clearly loves the track.
Corinthia Knight won again at Pontefract to make it 5 wins from 7 starts at the track for the Archie Watson trained son of Society Rock.
He led from pilar to post under Paul Mulrennan and was able to fend off all comers in the final 2 furlongs to go on to score by just over a length.
That was a remarkable 16th career win, and what a career its has been. 3 year old all weather champion, 4th at the Breeders Cup, a listed winner in France, along with races in Canada & Sweeden.
Archie has done an incredible job to manage him in the last few years and he still loves his racing. He has always had tons of ability, combine that with a terrier like approach and guts to dream of, hes the horse of a lifetime.
A big well done to his owners and all of the team at Archies.
Amor De Mi Vida ran last night in the 5 furlong fillies handicap at Haydock.
She was drawn in stall 1 for the 7 runner event with Paul Mulrennan taking the mount aboard the Archie Watson trained 4 year old.
She broke smartly and travelled sweetly in the early stages of the race. Paul took up the lead with 2 furlongs to go, she drifted a little in the latter stages of the race but he kept her up to her work and she went on to score by a couple of lengths.
It was a career best performance under top weight and the 5th win of her career. She is in very good order. A big well done to her owners and surely there is more to come from the filly this year.
We have added 4 horses to the site in recent weeks, there are prices to suit all budgets. We list them below, get in contact if you require any further information.
Dandy Man filly trained by Lawrence Mullaney
She is real value for money at £950 all in for 2022. This means there are no training fees until 1st January 2023.
By a top stallion in Dandy Man out of a dam who won 2 races at 2. Our filly is bred to be a 2 year old and she is real value for anyone wanting to get racing this year as an owner.
We visited this filly in Ireland and were very impressed with her, both as a physical specimen and after seeing her work on the Curragh.
This filly will be early. She is quick and we will target a pre Ascot maiden with her. She moves and looks like a nice horse and we are delighted to secure her.
She has settled very well into her new home at Tim Easterbys
We purchased this colt at the breeze up sales this week.
He is a late April foal who is a very good size and very mature for his age. The ground on the day was quick and he did the second fastest gallop out of the day which is extraordinary for a late foal by Mayson, considering his offspring generally prefer some cut in the ground.
We purchased this filly at the breeze up sales this week.
She is an early may foal and recorded the 31st fastest breeze of the day, to do this at such a young age is hugely impressive. This filly looks more mature that her age would suggest and is a real athlete.
